Goodbye, Kim Kardashian ... HELLO, Kim Humphries -- TMZ has learned ... the BIGGEST name in reality television will soon cease to exist ... because Kim K will be taking her soon-to-be husband's last name.

That's right -- sources close to Kim are adamant ... the most famous Kardashian of them all will "for sure" take NBA star Kris Humphries' last name when the couple ties the knot this summer.

Which might piss off Kim's mom, Kris Jenner -- who recently told Popeater, "I don’t think she should take his name and be Kim Humphries ... She needs to be Kim Kardashian because she’s worked so hard to get where she is.”

Kim's Mom Gave Permission For Engagement

Kim Kardashian was taken by surprise when Kris Humphries popped the question, but the reality star's mom and stepdad knew it was coming.

Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner found out "a few days" before it happened, Kim's mom revealed Wednesday during a press day for the family's show Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

"He came to Bruce and myself and asked us for Kim's hand in marriage," says Kris Jenner, "and it was really just so cute the way that he wanted to surprise her."

Humphries, 26, waited in Kim's bedroom on bended knee with four words written in red rose petals: "WILL YOU MARRY ME?"

Mom Kris decided to host a family dinner in honor of the occasion – without revealing the reason to the rest of the family.

"[Kim and Kris] were going to come over to my house, join the party, and then tell the rest of the family," says Kris Jenner.

But sisters Khloé and Kourteny Kardashian were totally in the dark about the news. "We had no idea! We were both surprised at the dinner when Kim came out with her big rock and she started waving it in the air," says Kourtney.

As for moving ahead with wedding planning, Khloé says that Kim will be totally in control of every element: "Kim, trust me, will never let anyone else touch her wedding but herself."

But the sisters do plan to have a role in the nuptials. "I would assume that we would both be maids of honor," says Khloé.

Quips Kourtney: "We're assuming, because otherwise there would be a war."

Kardashian Sisters Plan Armenian Mother's Day

What does a family that reportedly made $95 million in 2010 get their matriarch for Mother's Day? Hint: it's something sweet.

The Kardashian family will be feasting on the traditional Armenian breakfast dish Beeshee on Sunday morning, but as of Saturday night, with just hours to spare, it was still undecided which socialite sister would be preparing the meal.

"We were just having a debate [over] who's going to make it. I think it's going to be Khloé," Kourntey Kardashian told PEOPLE at a City of Hope event in L.A. "We make it the night before. The dough has to rise, and then we all go to my mom's and eat it in the morning."

The family will dine in honor of Kris Jenner, a mother of six and stepmother of four, who has helped her family craft a reality show empire that started with Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

While Kourtney, a mother herself to 1-year-old Mason, says "it's fun to just be together" and is happy to "just see where the day takes us," her sister Khloé has definite plans for the family: supporting her husband, Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom, as he plays in the NBA playoffs.

"We have to watch the Lakers game at 12:30," Khloe said, interrupting her sister's open-ended plans for the day. "We are going to make history and win the next four [games]."

Khloe Kardashian: I'm "Massive" Next To Sisters

It's not easy being the "biggest" Kardashian sister.

In the new issue of Us Weekly, out Wednesday, Khloe Kardashian admits red carpet events with older sibs Kim and Kourtney can take their toll on her self esteem.

"They are 5-foot and 5-foot-2, so I look massive next to them," Khloe, who is 5-foot-10, tells Us. "Everyone expects me to be 9 feet tall and weigh 200 pounds [when they meet me]."

26-year-old Khloe -- whose mom Kris Jenner even criticized her weight in a recent episode of Khloe and Lamar - has "struggled with her weight since she was 8 years old," a family friend tells Us. "She was always taller and developed much broader shoulders than her petite sisters."

And the E! reality star, happily married to basketball star Lamar Odom for over a year, says she first gained weight following Kris' divorce from her late father, famed OJ Simpson trial attorney Robert Kardashian Sr.

"My brother [Rob] and I were always heavy. They gave us food to keep us comforted. All we did was eat crap," she recalls.

Classmates and even her mom's friends noticed that Khloe's older sisters Kim, 30, and Kourtney, 32, stayed skinny despite the family turmoil. "I had older women tell me, 'You should really work out,'" she explains. "It really got to me."

Her initial response? A teenaged Khloe hit the gym, working out three times a day and eating tiny meals. She went from a size 12 to 0.

"I started to get a positive response from people when I was losing weight," she admits.

Kris Jenner Slams Khloe for Gaining Weight

On Sunday's Khloe & Lamar, Khloe Kardashian, 26, comes under fire from her mom, Kris Jenner, after she packs on a few extra pounds.

As Jenner sees it, her daughter's weight gain makes her a less than ideal spokeswoman for the Kardashians' Quicktrim diet supplement. Jenner also accuses Kardashian of sabotaging the brand.

"You don't care and it's very very upsetting to me because I've worked so hard at creating what I think is a great deal for you girls and you're not pulling your end of the weight," Jenner says in a sneak preview of Sunday's all-new episode. "I feel like you could not chat about how many cookies you're eating in between meals [to the media]..."

Kardashian, on the other hand, feels torn as she struggles to maintain a healthy weight in an effort to conceive her first child with husband Lamar Odom.

"To tell me I'm ruining a whole brand because of my weight gain makes me feel like s--t. Get over yourself. You're such a f--king raging lunatic and you're so evil," she snipes to Jenner. "I'm too f--king fat, too f--king that. Do you want me to get pregnant? Do you want me to lose weight? You tell me you want me to have a baby every second, but I can't be on some crazy diet. I just don't get what you want out of me!"

Khloe & Lamar Try To Conceive on Premiere

For Khloe Kardashian and her hubby Lamar Odom, timing really is everything!

On Sunday's premiere of the couple's new E! reality series, Khloe & Lamar, Odom, 31, gripes about having to schedule sex with his wife according to her ovulation schedule in the hopes of getting pregnant.

"It's a little weird when it comes to [scheduling] sex," Odom says, as Kardashian, 26, and her BFF/assistant Malika go over the week's itinerary, which includes a book signing, dinner with Kardashian's mom Kris Jenner, and of course, lots of lovemaking.

While Odom is hesitant to plan their time in bed -- "I like to pop off spontaneously," he admits -- his wife is much more enthusiastic about the process.

"Wednesday, Thursday, Friday -- let's bang it out!" she enthuses.

The Kardashians: "We Work 25 Hours a Day"

Make no mistake: The Kardashians didn't earn $65 million last year by sitting on their famous derrieres.

"It's annoying when I hear, 'What do your girls do?' Well, first of all, all of my daughters have jobs. They are fashion stylists and designers; they own a chain of stores. They had the stores before they had the show," matriarch Kris Jenner, 55, tells the May issue of Redbook. "And my kids worked from the time they were 13 years old. So to me, that's a huge misconception that the girls don't work. They work 25 hours a day."

As for criticism that her famous daughters lack any talent? "They might not be singers or dancers, but they certainly know how to produce a television show," Jenner says. "Whether you want to call it talent or not, they have multiple shows on the air. How many shows do you have?"

Part of their family's appeal, Khloe notes, is that they aren't afraid to be themselves.

"We are a real family. We don't sugarcoat anything. We're not the Brady Bunch, but we always put each other first," Khloe Kardashian, 26, says. "We love each other on camera, we cry on camera. I think people relate to the realness of it."

Kim Kardashian, 30, insists there isn't much to hide anyway. "There's nothing I'm really ashamed of, and I work hard on the show and all my other projects," she tells the mag. "I don't drink or do drugs, so I'm comfortable showing the world what my life is all about."

Despite their individual struggles -- Khloe's pressure to have a baby, Kourtney Kardashian's rocky relationship with Scott Disick, and Kim's struggle with plastic surgery rumors -- Kris insists her family is stronger than ever.

"Our joy in life is that we always have each other," she says. "So I've tried to teach my kids three things: love God, love your family and love yourself."

Khloé: Kris Humphries Must Survive 'Initiation'

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries seem to be handling their long-distance relationship just fine – but according to Kim's sister, Khloé Kardashian, the couple has another challenge waiting in the wings.

"I don't think Kris knows what he's getting into," Khloé, 26, told PEOPLE the other day, while promoting her new E! reality show Khloé & Lamar. "He hasn't been around all of us yet. He hasn't been to my mom's house with the chaos, so the initiation process will happen this summer – if he lasts. If he can get out of that alive, then he's good to stay."

If Humphries, 26, does survive meeting Kris Jenner and co., it sounds like a carefree summer is in the works.

"Hopefully we'll all get to go on fun trips and hang out," Khloé says of her sister, 30, Humphries and Odom. "That's something that we all look forward to. Kris was out here [for] All-Star weekend, and we hung out. Lamar got to know him and we had fun."

Despite competing on two different NBA teams, Odom and Humphries do not butt heads. But that doesn't mean Odom hasn't voiced his thoughts on Humphries's New Jersey Nets.

"Lamar always teases Kim," Khloé says. "Kim will be like, 'Oh, my god, [the Nets] won their game.' And Lamar will go, 'Kim, remember this day. They're not going to win [the NBA Championship].' She thinks it's funny."

Rob Kardashian Is OK After Emergency Surgery

Medical drama for the Kardashians.

Rob Kardashian underwent an emergency appendectomy on Tuesday. Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe's little brother, 24, arrived at the emergency room with his mom Kris Jenner after complaining of stomach pains, TMZ reports.

Doctors quickly decided to remove the reality star's appendix. Before finally checking into the hospital, Rob had apparently been dealing with excruciating pain at home all day while big sister Kim, 30, took care of him.

Although he's still recovering post-op, Rob is "fine and doing well," a family insider told TMZ.

"Wow LOOONG night in the ER!," Kris Jenner Tweeted Wednesday after the ordeal. "Pooooor Rob! My son has no more appendix!! I love you @RobKardashian you were so brave! Xoxox."

The relieved mom added: "I love you so much!!"

Kim Won't Endorse Butt Enhancement Pills

She's hawked everything from Silly Bandz to credit cards, but there's one thing Kim Kardashian says she'll never promote: "I have said no to butt enhancement pills!"

"I'm like, I don't think I need them and this is just crazy," she explains during an appearance on The Rachael Ray Show, airing Monday, February 28 (check your local listings). "I would never endorse a product like that!"

Adds matriarch Kris Jenner, 55: "It's my job as a manager to present them with every single deal, whether I want to or not. It's nothing about the 10 percent, I swear!"

The Kardashian family -- who netted an impressive $65 million in 2010 alone -- have already planned to expand their empire with a spinoff show focused on teen sisters Kylie, 13, and Kendall, 15.

"We've been batting that around a little bit," Jenner tells the 42-year-old talk show host, noting that her main priority is still her daughters' education. "As long as they get good grades and they keep doing what they're doing and they're good girls."

"Kendall has her cheerleading, Kylie has her dance class and they have horseback riding, so you never know," Jenner mused. "I'm talking to Ryan [Seacrest] a little bit, batting that around."

Kardashian Inc. Earned $65 Million Last Year!

The Kardashian family is doing something right, because they earned a staggering $65 million last year.

Just to put in perspective how much money the Kardashians made in 2010, it was more than Tom Cruise, Sandra Bullock and Angelina Jolie made combined!

According to an insider at The Hollywood Reporter, the Kardashian's have banked with endorsements, a reality-TV show, Twitter, paid public appearances, fragrance lines, Dash clothing stores and more.

The family is led by matriarch Kris Jenner, who says, "We're just this big family with a lot of drama and a lot of issues, and there's someone here for everyone to relate to."

Lisa Berger, Executive VP of Programming at E! said she almost passed on Keeping Up with the Kardashians after being pitched by Ryan Seacrest, but now admits it's changed the face of the network and she has respect for Kris.

"Kris has been smart about aligning herself with businesses that are successful, and we haven't said no," Berger said.

"There's no reason to. Growing her business grows our business."

To put their celebrity stardom into perspective, the report points out that the Kardashians are in 300 countries worldwide - and only 194 countries are recognized by the U.S. government.

"My job was trying to take my kids' 15 minutes and turn it into 30," Kris said.

"My mother has just always been this 'Let's make water into wine' person...She knows how to take one small talent or ability and grow it into something huge," Khloe said of her mother.

According to the insider at THR, Kim Kardashian charges up to $25,000 just to mention a brand name in one of her Twitter posts, and she charges anywhere from $100,000 to $250,000 for an event appearance fee.

"My fantasy is to have Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Season 26... Who knew it would be this profitable? I should have had more kids," Kris joked.
