"Boardwalk Empire" star Paz de la Huerta was arrested last night after she allegedly threw a glass at former "City" star Samantha Swetra at an NYC party on Sunday ... and then socked her in the face.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ, it all went down at The Standard hotel -- after Paz and Samantha got into it over Samantha's male friend ... we're told Paz was hitting on him and Sam got defensive.

According to sources, Samantha made a few snide remarks about Paz's level of inebriation ... and Paz got PISSED, throwing a glass and punching Samantha in the face.

We're told pieces of the glass became lodged in Samantha's leg, and her friend helped pick out the bloody shards ... while Paz was escorted out by security.

Samantha filed a police report this morning with her attorney Stephanie Ovadia.

E*TRADE Baby Can't Say 'Lindsay' Or 'Milkaholic'

http://www.radaronline.com/sites/radaronline.com/files/imagecache/350width/wenn5560248_1.jpgThose fun folks at E*TRADE who've created all those fun TV spots featuring chatty babies, are now letting you build your own talking message.

Here's the catch: there are two words that are not permitted to come out of the football helmet-wearing baby's mouth: "Lindsay" and "Milkaholic," Radar Online reports.

The ban is a result of the settlement last year between Lindsay Lohan and the investment giant. It sprung out of a spot that had one of the talking babies refer to his girlfriend Lindsay as a "milkaholic."

Lohan sued the investment giant, alleging it defamed her. It was resolved out-of-court last September, with her attorney Stephanie Ovadia telling Radar Online exclusively, "We've settled with E*TRADE."

Lohan supporters consider the E*TRADE "Lindsay" ban a victory; that even with felony theft charges looming over her, sometimes even small victories matter.

Radar Online reached out to Ovadia for comment, but the lawyer declined.

Producer of 'Lindsay Lohan' Movie Backpedals

The writer/producer of "Dogs in Pocketbooks" now insists his movie is NOT about Lindsay Lohan ... maybe because the Lohan's are making rumblings of a lawsuit.

Charles Casillo now tells TMZ ... reports that the movie -- about a starlet addicted to drugs and alcohol who goes in and out of rehab -- is based on Lindsay are "totally blown out of proportion."

Interesting comment, given what Casillo told Page 6 a few days ago: "[The movie] is in no way mean-spirited towards Lindsay. It's the kind of thing she has spoofed about herself in the past. It's more of a satire about the crazy people around her..."

As TMZ first reported, Lindsay's family is mulling over legal action. Lohan's lawyer Stephanie Ovadia says, "They are again using her likeness without her being compensated."

So now Casillo says the character is a composite of many young starlets, including Lindsay, Paris Hilton and Britney Spears -- mixed with some icons like Marilyn Monroe and Jean Harlow.

We love writers with good imaginations.
