Kathy, Paris & Nicky Honored For Charity Work

Kathy Hilton, Paris Hilton, and Nicky Hilton were honored Saturday night by the Starlight Foundation, and Radar Online was there.

The occasion was the charity's annual "A Stellar Night" gala and the Hilton ladies were presented with the Heart of Gold Award.

The Starlight Foundation works to brighten the lives of kids facing serious illnesses. They provide everything from mobile bedside entertainment units that can be used in hospitals, to cruises and spa days for the families whose lives have been turned upside down by their child's illness.

"We've hosted many events at our home," Kathy Hilton tells Radar Online exclusively.

"We've had Easter egg hunts and play dates for children and their families.

"Paris and Nicky always participate and I tell them, 'Take the high heels off! We're playing duck-duck-goose and Red Rover!' There have been a lot of special times. We really enjoy spending time with the families."

Last year the Hilton ladies also designed t-shirts sold exclusively at Forever 21 with proceeds going to the cause.

Several kids who are benefiting from Starlight Foundation programs attended last night's festivities at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza hotel.

Kathy wore a pair of gorgeous diamond chandelier earrings once owned by Elizabeth Taylor. Taylor's first husband was Conrad Hilton, grandfather of Kathy's husband Rick.

Great news! Starlight Children's Foundation in collaboration with Forever 21 are launching a charitable line of T-shirts where 100% of the proceeds will go towards helping seriously ill children and their families to cope with their pain, fear and isolation through entertainment, education and family activities... And I designed one of the t-shirts~!! Me and some other celebrities like Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton and Kathy Hilton, Colbie Caillat, Demi Lovato and the Starlight Spokesperson Corbin Bleu all were given paints, markers, and sketch pads to create a design based on the themes of star and light, now featured on a cotton t-shirt or tank top.

To me, entertainment, laughter, joy and hope are amazing gifts. Starlight is a great foundation to help children and their families cope with their pain. I absolutely love children and any chance I get to help, I'm there! I feel it's important for people to be there for children and inspire them and help educate them.

The line will be available this coming Monday online at the forever 21 website and in select stores for $12.80. Also, the originals are up for auction at Starlight's ebay store.
