Michelle: "I Don't Know Anything About Weed"

When it comes to marijuana, Michelle Trachtenberg just says no. So when longtime pal Topher Grace asked her to play a pothead in his upcoming 80s flick, Take Me Home Tonight, she had to study up.

"I play a goth stoner chick and I don't know anything about the weed," the Gossip Girl star, 25, told Us Magazine Tuesday at a fete celebrating her recent Maxim cover. "Really, I know nothing about it. So I had to do a little research."

The actress was quick to add her research didn't involve actually lighting up, just chatting up a few pals.

"I was talking with my friends, who are apparently a bunch of f--king stoners," she told Us.

The prep work for her Maxim cover was a bit more rigorous.

"I stopped eating," she joked of donning lingerie for the shoot. "No, I ate a lot. My favorite foods are bread and cheese, so I basically just limited eating those things from fives times a day to about twice a week. But only for ten days."

And post shoot? "Immediately after I wrapped on set I asked, 'Who’s ordering the pizza?'"

Michelle: "One Day I Woke Up and Had Boobs"

Michelle Trachtenberg has a message for her former high school bullies: eat your heart out, boys!

The Take Me Home Tonight actress, 25, told Us Magazine that she's thrilled with her super steamy March Maxim cover if only because it proves she's all grown up.

"I was horrifically tortured and bullied in school especially by the boys," the Gossip Girl star said at Friday's Rebecca Taylor fashion show in NYC. "They made a point to always say how flat-chested I was and then all of a sudden one day I woke up and had boobs. So I'm really looking forward for them to see it!"

In fact, Trachtenberg said she thought about dropping a not-so-subtle hint.

"I almost wish I can send them a note that says 'How you like me now, bro?'" she told Us. "Except that would mean I care too much."

Ashlee and Pete's Split: Early Signs of Trouble

Wedded bliss didn't last very long for Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz.

Although the couple's Wednesday divorce announcement came as a shock to many, insiders saw trouble brewing way back in June 2009 -- when Ashlee, 26, and Pete, 31, were married for a mere 13 months, and prone to explosive blowouts often punctuated by alcohol.

At issue? Balancing their professional and romantic lives with the pressures of parenting an infant son, Bronx, then 7 months.

At the time, the duo fought "constantly," and singer-actress Ashlee was "seriously considering leaving him," one insider said.

Things boiled over at a June 1 party -- where a visibly drunk Ashlee got into a nasty public spat with Michelle Trachtenberg, Pete's ex girlfriend.

Simpson-Wentz was "reverting to drinking and going out, because she is sick and tired of her life," another pal said. The alcohol was "an outlet for her unhappiness, and Pete is getting fed up."

After hanging out in the same social circles for years, the couple got romantic in late 2006 -- and raced to the altar in May 2008, when she was 3-months pregnant.

"Ashlee loves Bronx but jumped into marriage and having a baby too quickly," one pal told Us. "They feel they got trapped in a situation they were too young for."

In Wednesday's statement released by their spokesperson, the couple said: "We remain friends and deeply committed and loving parents to our son Bronx, whose happiness and well-being remains our number one priority."

Leighton's Star-Studded Nylon Cover Party

Leighton Meester was the center of attention last night at her Nylon cover party in New York City. The "Gossip Girl" actress looked cute in Proenza Schouler as she arrived to the W Hotel Downtown for the swanky magazine fete held in her honor.

Joining Leighton was her "The Roommate" co-star Minka Kelly, as well as "Gossip Girl" gal pals Jessica Szohr and Michelle Trachtenberg. Kanye West and Russian beauty Irina Shayk rounded out the star-studded guest list.
