She won our hearts in "American Dreams," and now Brittany Snow is shedding her shyness and covering the pages of Maxim's April 2011 issue. The blonde bombshell says she's 25 now and excited that people might start thinking of her as an adult.

When talking about her sexy cover shoot, the "Hairspray" actress told Maxim,"It’s funny, because I’ve never done anything like this before, so the whole experience was a big step for me. But it was cool. I felt really comfortable and had a great time."

Avril Lavigne Tells Maxim She's 'Old-Fashioned'

She may not dress the part, but punk princess Avril Lavigne is really an old-fashioned girl – when it comes to relationships.

Does beau, Brody Jenner fit that bill? Lavigne tells the November issue of Maxim, on sale Oct. 12, "I like a classy man, a gentleman who opens the door and gives flowers and always puts the lady first. I'm a little old-fashioned like that."

The singer, 26, who recently divorced Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley, 30, is ready to release a new album, which she admits is inspired by her personal life but, "is the first that is not boy bashing."

Not that her life is drama-free. A regular target of the paparazzi, Lavigne has been snapped leaving nightclubs with Jenner, something she says she rarely does.

"The only time I really ever get photographed is if I decide to go out with my friends to a bar or club, so ... it kind of looks like I do that more than I do, " she says, "The majority of the time I stay in."

Lavigne does take tabloid reporting in stride saying, "You can only laugh at it and roll your eyes because it's like, "Really?" They usually just pull that stuff out of their ass, but I think people know that."

When asked how she stays out of trouble amidst some of the notable teen star meltdowns, the Canadian native credits her roots, "I got here on my own. I came from a small town and grew up in a regular home. I know what I've worked hard for. I've seen a lot of people who have gone a little crazy and who are really into the Hollywood scene. I don't really like to hang out with people like that.

Whitney Port is Ready to Show Off Her Sexy Side

It looks like The City‘s girl-next-door Whitney Port is getting ready to shed her wholesome image! The reality starlet and budding fashion designer announced today that she’s posing for racy men’s magazine, Maxim. “Ready to channel my sexy side!!” she wrote on her blog Thursday. 

“This is a pretty big deal for me because I’ve never done ANYTHING like this before. I’ve done my fair share of photo shoots in my career, but none of them were at the level of sexiness that Maxim is recognized for,” wrote the self-described “cutesy, girl next door type.” An image, it seems, that the reality star is excited to relinquish. “Doing this shoot will give me the opportunity to step outside my comfort zone and show people an entirely different side of me.”

The Hills Girls Make Maxim Hot 100 List

Sure Katy Perry may be hot enough to top the Maxim Hot 100 this year. But, the list also showed lots of love to the girls of "The Hills." Three of the show's leading ladies made the list alongside superstars like Angelina Jolie and Megan Fox.

Audrina Patridge made the climb from #57 (2009) to #12 on this year’s list. She's joined by Kristin Cavallari who debuted at #76 this year, and Stephanie Pratt hotness landed her a spot at #44.

This isn’t the first time the girls from "The Hills" have found their way on this list. Audrina has been making a steady climb up the list the last few years. In 2009, Audrina jumped 17 spots from #74 in 2008 to #57. But 2009 didn't see equally good news for Heidi Montag: last year Mrs. Pratt fell to #81, dropping a whopping 45 spots. This year, she fell off the list completely. In 2009, "The City," star Whitney Port made her big debut at #83. She didn't make this year's list either.

Audrina Patridge: Griddle Cafe Cutie

Having just returned home from a relaxing vacation, Audrina Patridge ventured out for a bite to eat at the Griddle Cafe in West Hollywood on Thursday afternoon (January 7).

Joined by a gentleman pal, the “Hills” hottie looked in fine form as she smiled for paparazzi - even stopping to sign a copy of Maxim for one of the following shutterbugs.

As for Miss Patridge’s vacation, she spent the New Year’s holiday relaxing on the sunny beaches of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Having stayed at the luxurious Casa Dorado hotel, Audrina tweeted prior to jetting back home, “casa dorada was amazing!!! kind of sad to be leaving.”

Nonetheless, it appears that the brunette beauty was able to find happiness in her return to Tinseltown, as she later wrote, “home sweet home!!! im craving in-n-out!!! yummy!”

Was it fun to do this shoot and not be the little sister for once?

Even in high school it was, “Oh, you’re Spencer’s little sister.” When we got on TV it was, “We hate Spencer’s little sister because she’s related to Spencer!” I’ve never had my own name, so this is exciting.

A lot of people think The Hills is fake. Can you confirm that all the juicy melodrama is legit?

None of us have studied acting. We can’t cry on the spot. My brother really didn’t talk to me for eight months because I went to Lauren Conrad’s birthday party! I think all of us have had the feeling that it would be easier to be on a scripted show.

Has TV helped your love life?

Ugh. The guys in L.A. are so awful. I feel like I know half of them, and the other half I don’t want to know. They’re all wearing Ed Hardy shirts and trucker hats that say female body inspector. But I’m not looking for someone. I do not want to find my Mr. Right at 23.
