Adrianna Palicki, 27, best known for her role as resident bad girl Tyra Collette on the now-defunct Friday Night Lights, has landed the role of Wonder Woman – and her true identity, corporate powerhouse Diana Prince – in a pilot for NBC, Deadline Hollywood reports.
So who is this actress suiting up for the iconic comic book adaptation in what could be the most butt-kicking role of her career?
Aside from Friday Night Lights, Palicki has been seen on the small screen in Fox's canceled drama series Lone Star and the WB's Supernatural. And she's no stranger to superpowers – she rubbed elbows with Clark Kent for a one-episode stint on the WB's Smallville in 2004.
This will be the superheroine's second TV incarnation. Lynda Carter previously rocked the tiara as Wonder Woman in a show that aired in 1976 to 1979.
